About Us

My name is Elizabeth Baribault. I am a longtime dog lover and have had several dogs of my own since 1995. My first involvement in training dogs was with Micha, my first German Shepherd. She was a long-haired Black and Tan beauty and we reached the pinnacle of competing in Utility, the highest level of Canadian Kennel Club obedience competition at that time. I never looked back from there. Since then I have trained several of my dogs for Obedience, Rally-O, Tracking and Agility. I have also been teaching companion dog training in a group format and privately for many years using positive reinforcement methods. I have an extensive education in solving behavioural issues of all kinds both from having attended numerous seminars held all over the North East including the Veterinary College at the University of Guelph and from practical hands on experience with many clients over the years.

I have been grooming my own dogs and a few other dogs such as Labradors and Huskies for quite some time but a few years ago, I took a grooming course and earned a certificate and have been grooming and clipping many more breeds of dogs since then.

I believe training should be enjoyable and rewarding for dogs and their families and that grooming should be as stress-free as possible. My goal is to make every client’s experience a truly quality one and to satisfy all needs whether they be canine or human.

I am a member of the Canadian Kennel Club and the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers. I am also an evaluator for the CKC Canine Good Citizen test.
